In a full house of 'De Oosterpoort' (1100 people) Marietta Petkova performs Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Noord Nederlands Orkest conducted by Michel Tabachnik. The entire second movement is included! The press was unanimous: '...pure magic...', '...ideal interpreter...'.

In a full house of 'de Doelen' (2200 people) Marietta Petkova plays Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Noord Nederlands Orkest conducted by Michel Tabachnik. Press reactions: 'Chopin is seldomly interpreted with such delicacy. Remarkably, Petkova kept being audible all the time. In a word: this was pure magic.'

This video shows Marietta Petkova in live performances of Schubert’s Piano Sonata D 960 and Rachmaninoff’s Etude-tableau Opus 33 No. 9 (Groningen, 2007). In an interview for Belgian television, Petkova comments the performances of five finalists in the Brussels Queen Elisabeth Competition 2007: Anna Vinnitskaya, Ilya Rashkovskiy, Miyeon Lee, Hyo-Sun Lim and Plamena Mangova.

This video includes an interview with Marietta Petkova for Dutch radio in 2007 (by Janine Voskamp). Petkova talks about the original version of the Rachmaninoff’s Fourth Piano Concerto, of which she gave the Dutch premiere in 2006. With fragments of Marietta Petkova’s live performances of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concertos No. 3 (1992) and No. 4 (2006), and photos by Chris van Koeverden, Mike van den Toorn, Theo Noort and Chris Hoefsmit.

In an interview for Dutch television in her home town (2003), Marietta Petkova talks about her grandfather, who used to be a beekeeper. In the background we hear Rachmaninoff’s Prelude Opus 23 No. 4 (Lausanne, 2002). The video also shows Petkova during a 2007/2008 recital tour in The Netherlands (Zwolle, Amsterdam, Tilburg, Groningen), performing works by Kreisler/Rachmaninoff (‘Liebesleid’) and Chopin (Fantaisie-Impromptu Opus 66, Waltz Opus 64 and Fantasy Opus 49).
